A new transplant to Maryland from Pennsylvania,
Shelley comes with 25 years of working with people,
over half of those years as a clinical therapist.
She loves working with people of all types and ages,
spanning from age
2 years to 102 years! Using a strengths-based,
interpersonal therapy style, Shelley helps each
client work through their emotional and situational
challenges, finding inner strength to function
effectively and move forward in life.
Helping others to feel more positive and productive in
life is a key goal Shelley works toward in therapy
sessions with clients. When we learn to be our own
inner coach, we feel more equipped to cope with hard
life situations, finding strength to solve problems
while still caring for ourselves. Shelley works with
children, adults, couples and families with life
challenges such as depression, anxiety, mood
disorders, traumatic stress, ADHD, autism spectrum,
and other life challenges we have to face.
Shelley loves to spend time with her family, loves
her dogs, loves to garden, kayak, hike and fish.
Shelley has a passion for helping people care for
their pets through holistic nutrition practices.
Spending time outdoors in nature helps Shelley
remain centered and renewed to spend her weekdays
meeting with clients at CBPS.
