In Kumi’s Words:

Sleep Better, Worry Less and Enjoy Life More! With the help of Guided Imagery, Mindfulness, Trauma with Internal Family Systems (IFS) and other related modalities, personal insight and professional experience, I provide clients a safe place to be heard, free fears, reduce anxieties, weed out unwanted behaviors, grow, improve and conquer insomnia. I love empowering others to achieve their goals and dreams and helping people better understand themselves and the world we live in so that they can experience more of the joy life has to offer.

My approach as a therapist is compassionate and respectful, honoring each client’s unique strengths and resources to move forward in a process toward positive change and growth. I see children, adolescents, couples, Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Questioning (LGBTQ) clients, families and adults for the issues listed above and many others. I believe everyone is capable of living a more meaningful, fulfilling life.
