Lisa Maki, LCPC
Before joining CBPS, Lisa worked as a behavioral health consultant, assisting developmental disability agencies in applied behavioral analysis and writing behavioral support plans for clients. Her experience includes providing behavioral support services to individuals with brain injuries in Maryland’s Home and Community-Based Services Waiver for Individuals with Brain Injury as well as to children in Maryland’s Autism Waiver Program.
Prior to her work as a behavioral health consultant, Lisa earned her master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from Bowie State University in 2013, and joined psychiatrist Anthony Drobnick’s practice the same year. While training under Dr. Drobnick at the St. Michaels practice, Lisa worked with children and adults with mood disorders, behavior problems, substance abuse disorders, eating disorders, and autism spectrum disorders. She served as the practice’s TMS (transcranial magnetic stimulation) technician and liaison. In that role, she was involved in clinical research, collecting data for the NeuroStar TMS Therapy System Utilization and Outcomes Clinical Trial study.
