Ronna earned her master’s degree in social work from the University of Maryland after an internship providing counseling in the Employee Assistance Program of Montgomery County Public Schools.  Previously, in a dual military family, she served a 20-year career around the world in the U.S. Army as a registered dietitian and healthcare administrator. She also has experience serving as a licensed foster parent, a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA), and a hospice volunteer for many years.

In Ronna’s own words:

I believe life is a series of chapters and we are meant to learn and grow in each one.    Growth calls for challenging self-reflection and an assessment of one’s values. My approach is to honor each client’s own experiences and values, and help them leverage their own strengths to adjust to and build a healthy life. I recognize that each session of talk therapy can be an intensely personal and vulnerable occurrence. I am committed to client privacy and creating a judgment-free experience each time in order that the client can honestly reflect and process their experiences.

Ronna is a licensed master social worker (LMSW) under the supervision of Lauren Hoffman, LCSW-C.
