In Eleni’s words:
Coming to therapy can be a difficult decision. My goal is to help you feel empowered to better handle situations that occur in life. I help clients work through difficult emotions for them to live the life that they want and achieve their goals. I utilize an integrative person-centered approach tailored to the individual that may include elements of ACT, DBT, mindfulness techniques, and play therapy. I value family involvement, especially in my work with younger children, as it helps me understand more of what is going on at home and opens the channels of communication. Therapy is a collaborative process, and I am very open to hear what is helpful and what is not helpful so that we can go in the direction that is most beneficial for you.
